Customs healths care society has started building one-room small paka houses for the homeless people of Thar. The people of Thar usually live in huts made from mud and wood. The people of Thar have approached the customs health care society for providing them one-room houses which will save them from the threat of fire and snake bites.
Customs health care society (CHCS) is empowering the women of Thar. So far hundred goats have been handed over to the poor and needy women of the Thar to provide them a source of income and milk for their children. The goats breed twice a year thus the women can earn by selling the goats and their children daily get milk from the goats which helps to nourish them.
The manifold activities of the Society are being sponsored by philanthropists and God fearing people. The society looks upto other public-spirited affluent men and women for making generous contributions towards alleviating the sufferings of their less fortunate brethren. Seeing is believing. We would therefore suggest that if these public spirited people can spare some of their precious time, their visit would be gratifying for us because they would be able to observe for themselves the working of the Society and the hospital.
